Zoom webinar alternatives (2026): eight options, compared honestly.

Written for the person running marketing webinars on Zoom who has outgrown a themeable registration page and a post-event CSV. If you are shopping for a meetings tool, this is not your page — Zoom is very good at that job.

The short answer

If you want a better room

Demio for polish and reporting, Livestorm for browser-native delivery at international scale, Crowdcast if you sell seats, BigMarker if your events reach conference size or go in-person. All four are better answers than ours for that job.

If you want the machine around it

Contrast if HubSpot is your source of truth and the room is the only gap. Agorix if you would rather stop stitching — registration, room, follow-up and checkout on one customer record, disclosed below as our own product.

01Why look past Zoom5 structural reasons

Nothing here is a complaint about the room.

Zoom’s room works. These are structural facts from Zoom’s own documentation about what the product is shaped to do — every one of them linked below. If none of them describes a problem you actually have, stay on Zoom.

01

Capacity is a license you buy, not a dial you turn

Zoom Webinars is an add-on license sitting on top of a paid Zoom account, and the capacity comes in purchased tiers — Zoom’s own documentation gives “Webinar 500 and Webinar 1000” as the example of holding different licenses of the same add-on. Attendance is capped at what you bought, so a bigger audience is a bigger license rather than a one-night adjustment. [5][6]

02

The registration page is a template you theme

You can set the color scheme, title, banner, logo and speaker information, within documented image size ceilings, and add custom questions in three formats — short answer, single answer, multiple answers. What you do not get is the page itself: the layout, the markup and the structure are Zoom’s, and the same template serves every webinar you run. [2][3]

03

Follow-up is two emails and three reminder slots

The template set includes an attendee follow-up email and a separate absentee follow-up email, with reminders that fire one hour, one day or one week before. Editing a single webinar’s email means the subject line plus text added at the beginning or end; anything deeper is account-level HTML and CSS in FreeMarker format. On Pro accounts, Zoom notes the From field cannot be modified. [1]

04

Behavior arrives as a file, not as a record

Zoom produces registration, attendee, performance, Q&A, poll and survey reports, and states plainly that they “can be exported in a CSV format for further analysis”, available for the previous year. Watch time, questions and poll answers exist — they just exist in a download, so nothing can branch on them until someone moves the file into the system that sends the email. [4][9]

05

The marketing features live in a different license

Production studio, backstage, simulive, resource links, breakout rooms and RTMP are documented as not available in the standard Zoom Webinars license. Simulive — the closest thing to an evergreen session — requires Zoom Events Unlimited or Zoom Webinars Plus Unlimited, and holding both a high-capacity license and a premium one means choosing capacity or premium features before the webinar starts, with no switching once it begins. [7][8]

02How we compared6 criteria

Six questions that actually change the invoice.

Feature checklists all look alike in this category. These are the six places where the difference between two products shows up as money or as work.

  1. 01Where the registration page livesWhether you get a themeable template or a page you actually control — and whether it can carry your fields, your domain and your brand.
  2. 02What the audience costs as it growsThe metering model matters more than the sticker price. Per host, per attendee tier, per credit, per registrant and per streaming hour all behave differently on a good month.
  3. 03Whether evergreen is included or sold up a tierAutomated, on-demand and simulive sessions are the most commonly gated feature in this category. Several vendors put them one or two tiers above their entry plan.
  4. 04How deep the follow-up goesHow many emails fire automatically, whether the timing is yours, and whether a message can branch on what somebody actually did in the room.
  5. 05Where attendance behavior ends upA CSV you download, or a record the rest of your marketing already runs on. This is the single biggest difference between a webinar tool and a platform.
  6. 06What you still have to buy around itCheckout, CRM, courses, pages and automation. A cheap room attached to four subscriptions is not a cheap stack.
03The options8 compared

Eight options, each with the part they are bad at.

Ordered by how close each one sits to the reader this page is written for, not by preference. Entry prices are the lowest published paid plan on each vendor’s own pricing page.

Our productThis is the Agorix website, and Agorix is listed first. Judge the entry accordingly — then read the seven alternatives, every one of which we recommend over Agorix for some situation further down the page.
01

Agorix

All-in-one, room native
Best forTeams who want the registration page, the room, the follow-up and the checkout on one customer record.

Agorix runs the marketing webinar and the machine around it: branded registration and reminders, a browser-based live session with chat, polls, questions and timed offers, then follow-up, checkout, courses and workflows on the same customer record. Because the room is part of the platform, arrival time, watch time, questions asked and offer clicks are available to the follow-up while the session is still running, rather than as an export the next morning.

Every paid plan includes the whole platform — the tier sets capacity, not access — and one-time room boosts add attendee capacity for a single event instead of forcing a permanent upgrade for one busy night.

The honest scope: this is a platform, not a better room.

If what you want is a nicer place to present and your CRM, email and checkout are already settled, buying Agorix means paying for parts you will not use. Take Demio for polish and reporting, Livestorm for browser-native delivery, Crowdcast if you sell seats, or BigMarker if your events run at conference scale. The case for Agorix only holds when the seam between the room and the rest of the funnel is the thing costing you money.

Watch-outs
  • The entry price is higher than every specialist on this page. If the room is all you need, you are paying for parts you will not use.
  • Launch caps live attendees at 100 and limits evergreen capability, full closed-loop attribution and one-click upsells. Those open up from Growth.
  • There is no native SMS. The messaging layer is email.
  • There is no community product and no branded mobile apps. If a members’ space or an app with your name on it is part of what you sell, that gap is real.
  • The self-serve trial does not enable the AI Operator, and runs at 25 live attendees, 500 marketing contacts and 2,500 emails.
02

Demio

Webinar specialist
Best forMarketers who want a polished browser-based room with clean engagement reporting, and who already have a CRM.

Demio is the most like-for-like upgrade from Zoom for a marketing team. The room runs in the browser — Demio’s own positioning is that “simple is the name of the game for presenters, registrants, and attendees” — and every tier ships a dedicated, customizable registration page with custom fields, branded automated email notifications, and engagement analytics with registration-source and UTM tracking plus one-click data export.

The fine print is at the entry tier. Starter is a 50-person room limited to one host and three-hour sessions, and it cannot run automated or on-demand webinars at all. Above it, Demio prices per host with the room size you choose, so scale and concurrency are two separate decisions.

Watch-outs
  • Starter cannot run automated or on-demand webinars. That capability begins at Growth.
  • Growth and Premium are priced per host, so a second concurrent event means a second seat.
  • HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo and Pardot integrations require the top Premium tier.
  • Premium publishes no monthly price — every checkout path on the pricing page is annual.
  • No native checkout. Stripe and PayPal appear only as Zapier-powered ways to add a purchaser to a webinar.
  • The published room ceiling is 3,000; anything larger is a conversation with their team.
03

Contrast

B2B demand-gen webinars
Best forB2B marketing teams running webinars as a pipeline channel, especially teams whose source of truth is HubSpot.

Contrast has the deepest native follow-up of any specialist on this page, and does not make you buy up a tier to get it. The entry Pro plan lists branded registration pages, embedded registration forms, three automatic reminder emails, two automatic follow-up emails, and the ability to send email based on attendance. Registration fields can be linked to HubSpot properties, and the HubSpot integration is native rather than a marketplace bridge.

Pre-recorded, recurring and replay/on-demand webinars are on Pro too, which is unusual here. The model to understand is the meter: Contrast bills unique registrants per month, and those reset monthly — so a campaign that registers well but converts to attendance poorly still consumes the plan.

Watch-outs
  • Only one tier is publicly priced. Advanced and Enterprise are both “Talk to us”.
  • Webinar duration is capped by tier — two hours on Pro.
  • Registrant metering resets monthly, so a spike in sign-ups costs money even if few people attend.
  • Concurrent events, API access, webhooks, enforced SSO and a custom sender or reply-to address all require Advanced.
  • Removing the “powered by Contrast” branding is Enterprise-only.
  • Custom domains, RTMP input, streaming to LinkedIn or YouTube and live captions are paid add-ons even on higher tiers.
  • No ticketing or checkout — Contrast does not sell seats.
04

Livestorm

Browser-native webinars & virtual events
Best forDistributed and international teams that want a browser-native room and a strong compliance posture, with budget approved annually.

Livestorm’s room runs in the browser with nothing to download, and the entry Pro plan carries registration pages with custom fields, email cadences covering reminders and follow-up, on-demand events, multi-session events, UTM tracking and data export. Team members do not consume capacity, which makes it comfortable for larger internal teams.

The pricing model is the thing to understand before you commit. Livestorm bills attendee credits — one credit per unique participant, per session, over a twelve-month period — and a credit is consumed whether that person joined live, watched the replay, or watched on demand. Registrations and no-shows cost nothing.

Watch-outs
  • There is no monthly option. Livestorm’s own support page states that Pro and Enterprise are billed annually.
  • Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period.
  • Running out of credits stops new attendees joining upcoming sessions.
  • Replays and on-demand views consume paid credits exactly like live attendance.
  • HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot and Microsoft Dynamics integrations are Enterprise-only.
  • SSO and restreaming are paid add-ons rather than plan features.
  • Enterprise does not buy a bigger room — 3,000 live attendees is the ceiling on both tiers.
  • Livestorm’s own pages describe the free plan’s session limit two different ways, so we do not quote one.
05

WebinarJam

Live sales webinars (+ EverWebinar)
Best forThe lowest published cost per attendee on live sales webinars, for operators who already run checkout somewhere else.

WebinarJam is the cheapest published entry on this page and it bundles its sister evergreen product: EverWebinar is “included in the Basic, Professional, and Enterprise packages at no additional cost”. The room is browser-based with no download, and the platform ships a point-and-click page builder with A/B split-testing, an email and SMS system, and replay management.

Two structural things decide whether it fits. The Starter tier is excluded from the EverWebinar bundle — its “Automated Webinars” row is the one marked not included — so anything evergreen genuinely starts at Basic. And every tier caps session length, from one hour on Starter to four hours at the top plan.

Watch-outs
  • Starter has no automated webinars and no EverWebinar, so the practical entry point for evergreen is Basic.
  • Session length is capped on every tier — four hours even at the $499/mo Enterprise plan.
  • WebinarJam and EverWebinar do not process payments. Their support documentation is explicit: charging for registration means sending people out to a third-party checkout and back, and the post-payment page cannot be customized.
  • Host counts are capped per tier at one, two, four and six, so concurrency means a higher plan.
  • EverWebinar’s discounted annual and two-year rates are marked new customers only.
  • The pricing page describes its trial two different ways, so we quote no trial price. A 30-day money-back guarantee is stated consistently.
  • The same page answers the “can multiple webinars run at once” question both ways, so we make no claim either way.
06

Zoho Webinar

Budget webinars inside a suite
Best forTeams already running on Zoho who want a low-cost webinar tool wired into Zoho CRM and Campaigns.

The cheapest credible option here by a wide margin. Standard starts at $9 per organizer per month — $8 billed annually — for a 25-attendee room, and even that tier includes recording, co-organizers, embeddable registration forms, webinar series, co-branding, browser-based joining on mobile, and 24-hour webinars, which is a longer session limit than anything else on this page.

The gating is concentrated at the marketing end, which is exactly where a Zoom-switcher is looking. Registration page branding and registration form customization begin at Professional. On-demand webinars, custom domains and email customization are Enterprise-only — and Enterprise starts at a 500-attendee room, so there is no small version of it.

Watch-outs
  • Everything is priced per organizer, so the headline price is per person who runs webinars, not per company.
  • On-demand (automated) webinars are Enterprise-only.
  • Registration page branding and registration form customization require Professional.
  • Custom domain and email customization — sender and reply-to — are Enterprise-only.
  • Enterprise begins at a 500-attendee room. There is no small Enterprise tier.
  • The external CRM story is thin: HubSpot arrives at Professional, and the deep integrations are with Zoho’s own products.
07

Crowdcast

Creator & community live sessions
Best forCreators and communities who sell seats to live sessions and want ticketing built into the room.

Crowdcast is the only option on this page besides Agorix with native checkout: Stripe is built in, with fixed or sliding-scale pricing, donations and coupons. Registration, the live session and the replay all share one page with one-click registration, there is nothing to install, and replay storage is unlimited on every tier.

It is priced for a different shape of business than a B2B demand-gen team. You pay for the people who actually turn up — registration is unlimited, live attendance is what counts — and streaming hours are metered by tier. The email layer is deliberately light: a confirmation on registration and a single reminder ten minutes before.

  • Streaming hours are metered — 10, 20 or 40 per month by tier, then $20 per extra five hours.
  • Session length is capped at two hours on Lite.
  • Ticket sales carry a Crowdcast transaction fee of 5% on Lite and Pro, 2% on Business, on top of Stripe’s own 2.9% + 30¢.
  • Live attendees beyond your tier cost 15¢ each.
  • Team seats are one, two and four by tier; extra seats are $29 each.
  • There is no native CRM — that runs through Zapier.
  • Custom registration fields require Pro.
  • The documented email set is a confirmation plus one reminder ten minutes before. No automatic replay or follow-up email is described.
08

BigMarker

Virtual, hybrid & in-person events
Best forConference-scale programmes, and teams running virtual, hybrid and in-person events through one vendor.

BigMarker is the only option here that goes beyond webinars into physical events. Its own pricing page describes it as “the world’s leading digital platform to elevate both in-person and online events”, with badging and check-in and mobile event apps alongside webcasts, and separate package families for webcasts, events and media hubs. The published capacity ceiling is 500,000 live attendees — far above anything else on this page — and registrants are unlimited on every tier.

Nothing is priced publicly. All three webcast tiers display “Let’s talk…” with a Request a Quote button, so a like-for-like cost comparison against everything else here cannot be made from published information. That is a fact about the buying process as much as the product: this is sold by a sales team, to event teams.

  • No published pricing at any tier, in any package family.

  • The Basic tier excludes an unusual amount: evergreen, simulive, 24-7 webinars and webinar series, ticketing and payments, CRM integration, API, Zapier, breakout rooms, custom registration fields and advanced analytics are all Enterprise.
  • Ticketing carries a 5% BigMarker transaction fee on top of your own gateway.
  • On-demand storage is capped at 100 webinars; more is a paid addition.
  • SSO and MFA require the top Enterprise+ tier.
  • Basic includes one host license, so no concurrent events at entry level.

Prices are list prices in the currency each vendor publishes, before discounts, add-ons and transaction fees — several of which are named in the watch-outs above. Zoom itself is not a row here: its per-tier dollar figures are not served on a crawlable vendor page, so we describe its licensing structure rather than quote numbers we cannot cite.

05How to chooseby segment

Six of these seven rows do not point at us.

Find the row that describes your operation, not the product with the longest feature list. A roundup that recommended its own author every time would not be worth reading.

You run webinars as the front of a funnel, and the follow-up is the point→ Agorix

When the registration page, the room, the email system and the checkout are one system, attendance behavior is available to the follow-up while it still means something. This is the case where a specialist room plus a CRM plus a checkout is genuinely more expensive and more fragile than one platform — and the case where it is not, is every other row in this list.

You want a better room and better reporting, and your CRM is already sorted→ Demio

The closest like-for-like upgrade from Zoom for a marketing team: browser-based, well-finished, with engagement analytics and source tracking on every tier. Budget for Growth rather than Starter if you want automated or on-demand sessions.

You run B2B demand-gen webinars and HubSpot is your source of truth→ Contrast

Three reminders, two follow-ups and attendance-based sending are all on the entry plan, and registration fields map to HubSpot properties. Watch the registrant meter rather than the attendee count when you size it.

You are a distributed or international team with a compliance review to pass→ Livestorm

Browser-native with nothing to install, strong compliance posture, and free team seats. Accept the annual-only commitment, and model the credit burn including replays before you pick a tier.

Budget is the binding constraint→ Zoho Webinar, or WebinarJam

Zoho is the cheapest entry at $9 per organizer per month, if you can live with marketing features gated to Professional and Enterprise. WebinarJam is the cheapest published cost per attendee and bundles EverWebinar from Basic upward — but budget for Basic, not Starter, and bring your own checkout.

You sell seats to live sessions and want ticketing in the room→ Crowdcast

Native Stripe checkout with sliding scale and donations, on one page with the session and the replay. Price in the streaming-hour meter and the 5% transaction fee on the lower tiers.

You run virtual events at conference scale, or events that are partly in-person→ BigMarker

The only option here with badging, check-in and mobile event apps, and a published ceiling of 500,000 live attendees. Expect a sales conversation rather than a price, and expect evergreen, ticketing and CRM sync to sit at Enterprise.

06Questions

The six worth answering plainly.

Still deciding? Compare Agorix plans or book a walkthrough and bring your current stack.

Why is Agorix listed first on its own comparison page?

Because it is our page, and pretending otherwise would be worse. Agorix is listed first with a disclosure badge on the entry itself, and the honest scope is stated there: Agorix is an all-in-one platform with the webinar room native, which is a real advantage for some readers and a poor fit for others.

The seven alternatives below it are described from their own published pages, with their real strengths and their real watch-outs, and six of the seven rows in the “how to choose” section point at one of them rather than at us. If you only want a better standalone room, one of those is the right answer.

Is there a genuinely free Zoom webinar alternative?

Three of the options here publish a free tier. Contrast offers a permanent free plan for up to 30 unique registrants per month with no credit card, though on-demand videos are deleted after 15 days. Zoho Webinar’s free plan runs 20 attendees with a 60-minute cap. Livestorm has a free plan too, but its own pages describe the session limit differently in different places, so we do not quote a number for it. Free tiers in this category are sized for testing the product, not for running a funnel.

Which of these run evergreen or automated webinars?

This is the most commonly gated feature in the category, so check the tier rather than the vendor. Contrast includes pre-recorded, recurring and on-demand webinars on its entry Pro plan. Livestorm includes on-demand events on Pro. Demio requires Growth. WebinarJam requires Basic, where the bundled EverWebinar arrives. Zoho requires Enterprise. BigMarker requires Enterprise. On Agorix, evergreen capability is limited on Launch and expands from Growth upward. On Zoom itself, simulive requires Zoom Events Unlimited or Zoom Webinars Plus Unlimited rather than the standard Webinars license.

Do I have to leave Zoom entirely?

No, and for a lot of teams the honest answer is to keep it. Zoom’s meeting product is not what this page is about — if your webinars are internal all-hands, customer training or cohort calls for people who already bought, the reporting-and-CSV workflow is usually fine and switching buys you little. The case for moving is specific: you are running marketing webinars to acquire customers, and the follow-up needs to know what happened in the room. For the direct head-to-head on that question, see Agorix vs Zoom Webinars.

What is the cheapest option on this page?

Zoho Webinar at $9 per organizer per month, for a 25-attendee room, followed by WebinarJam at $39/mo billed annually for 100 attendees. Both headline prices come with structural conditions worth pricing in: Zoho gates registration branding to Professional and on-demand webinars to Enterprise, and licenses per organizer; WebinarJam’s Starter tier caps sessions at one hour, excludes automated webinars, and does not process payments at all. The cheapest subscription and the cheapest stack are often different answers.

Is the Agorix AI Operator included in the free trial?

No. The current self-serve trial does not enable the AI Operator. The trial runs 14 days at 25 live attendees, 500 marketing contacts and 2,500 emails, with $0 due today and a payment method required. Paid plans include monthly AI Credits, and a walkthrough can show how the Operator uses shared customer and business context before you pick a plan.

One connected record

Keep the webinar format. Upgrade the machine around it.

If one of the seven alternatives above fits you better, take it — that is why they are on this page. If the gap you keep paying for is the seam between the room and the follow-up, run one webinar on Agorix and watch where the behavior lands.

Agorix plan prices, capacities and trial terms come from our own pricing page. Four things are deliberately absent because we could not verify them from a vendor-owned page. GoTo Webinar was in our candidate set, but every goto.com pricing and product page refused our requests and its help centre renders no content to a crawler, so it is omitted rather than described from third-party summaries. Zoom’s per-tier dollar prices are not served on a crawlable vendor page, so we describe how Zoom Webinars is licensed and capacity-tiered instead of quoting figures. Livestorm states two different free-plan session limits on two of its own pages, and WebinarJam’s pricing page describes its trial as both free and $1, so neither number appears above. Competitor pricing and features change; this page is re-verified quarterly and the stamp moves with it. No competitor logos, interface screenshots, review scores or ratings appear on this page by design.
