Agorix vs Kartra (2026): the room is native. The evergreen engine is not.

Most comparisons still tell you Kartra sends you to another product for webinars. That is out of date — the live room is really in there. The seams that survive are which plan it starts on, how many people fit, and the fact that every Kartra webinar is live.

The short answer

Choose Agorix if

Evergreen webinars are part of how you sell, you want live and automated sessions on one record and one bill, your events run past four hours or past 300 people, and you want follow-up that branches on attendance behavior.

Choose Kartra if

A built-in helpdesk, a mature affiliate programme or an agency console are load-bearing for your business, your webinars are live-only and comfortably inside the limits, and the entry price matters more than the evergreen engine.

The handoff

One evergreen webinar, six jobs. Follow which of them share a customer record.

Five of six jobs are native — and for a live webinar on Growth or above, Kartra is six of six. It is the automated session that is a separate product on a separate bill, holding the behavior your follow-up most wants to branch on.

Six of six on one record. Live and evergreen are the same object, so watch time, questions and offer clicks reach the follow-up either way.

01The verdict

Kartra earned the all-in-one label. Every webinar it runs is live.

Let us give Kartra the credit the rest of the internet has not caught up to yet. Pages, email, automations, checkout, memberships, calendars, affiliates, a real helpdesk, unlimited hosted video — and a native live webinar room with chat, polls, timed offers and screen share. It is not a registration page pointed at Zoom.

Three things bound it. The room starts on Growth — Kartra states webinars are not included with Starter, and they are absent from Essentials. The room has hard ceilings: 300 attendees on Growth, six presenters on every tier including Enterprise, and an event that ends automatically at four hours. And every documented scheduling option — Right Now, Always On, Scheduled — is a live event. There is no automated evergreen type; the evergreen product published under the same copyright is a separate subscription.

Agorix runs live and evergreen as the same object, on the same record as the registration page, the follow-up, the checkout and the course — which is what makes watch time, questions and offer clicks usable while the interest is still warm.

03Who each is for

These are not the same business.

Agorix

Webinar-led businesses where the session creates the customer

Coaches, consultants, course creators and agencies whose revenue starts with a live or evergreen session and continues into a high-ticket offer or a programme. You run the same presentation on a schedule as well as live, you care that someone stayed 47 minutes and clicked the offer without buying, and you would rather operate one system with honest capacity limits than two subscriptions that each hold half the behavior.

Kartra

Operators who want one suite to run the whole back office

Businesses that want pages, email, checkout, memberships, calendars, affiliates, video and a support desk under one login and one bill — and are happy to run webinars live. If your affiliate programme needs withholding periods and joint-venture tracking, or your customers open tickets and manage their own subscriptions, Kartra covers ground Agorix does not. If you also weigh funnel-first builders, the closer read is Agorix vs ClickFunnels.

04Deep dive6 jobs

Six jobs, and what the difference costs you.

Each section reads the same way: what Kartra does, what Agorix does, and what the gap between them means on an operating Monday.

The live room — Kartra actually has one

Kartra

Most comparisons of this platform are out of date, so start here: Kartra ships a native live webinar room. Not a registration page pointed at Zoom — an actual room, with public and private chat, polls, timed offers with countdowns, file handouts, slides, screen share, a whiteboard and request-to-speak. Two conditions attach to it. It starts on the Growth plan — Kartra’s own webinar page states webinars are not included with Starter, and they do not appear on Essentials at all — and it runs to hard ceilings: 300 concurrent attendees on Growth, 1,000 on Professional, six presenters on every tier including Enterprise, and an event that ends automatically once four hours have elapsed.

Agorix

Agorix runs the room natively on every paid plan, starting at Launch. Capacity is metered by tier — 100, 250, 500, 1,000 attendees, and 2,500+ on Agency / Enterprise — with a one-time boost available for a single oversized event rather than a permanent plan change. Registration, reminders, the session, chat, questions, polls and the timed offer all write to the same customer record as they happen.

What it means

The room argument against Kartra is mostly obsolete. The arguments that survive are what tier the room starts at, how many people fit in it, and what happens at the four-hour mark.

The Agorix live webinar console showing scheduled sessions, registration counts and room status.
AgorixThe live room, the registration page and the attendee record are one object in Agorix.

The evergreen session, and where it is sold

Kartra

Kartra documents three scheduling options for a webinar: Right Now, Always On and Scheduled. All three are live events. Always On is the one most often mistaken for evergreen — it is a persistent room you can reuse, not a recording replayed on a schedule to a viewer who registered ten minutes ago. There is no automated webinar type in Kartra’s documentation, and the evergreen product published under the same copyright, EverWebinar, is a separate subscription with its own account. Kartra’s help center documents connecting the two, and what that connection does is transfer registrants into Kartra — one-way lead sync, configured on the WebinarJam side, over the API, which itself requires Growth or above.

Agorix

Evergreen is a first-class session type in Agorix, not a second product. Scheduled, just-in-time and on-demand sessions run where currently supported, and each viewer stays attached to the same record: where they joined, how far they watched, whether they reached the offer, and what they did the next day. Evergreen capability is limited on Launch and expands from Growth upward.

What it means

If evergreen is the engine of your business, Kartra is not one subscription. It is Kartra plus a second product, on a second bill, holding the half of the behavior your automations most want to branch on.

The Agorix automated webinar console showing scheduled evergreen sessions and viewer progress.
AgorixEvergreen sessions in Agorix are the same object as live ones, on the same customer record.

What the room remembers afterward

Kartra

Two documented behaviors matter more than they first appear. First, the Scheduled event type is the only one that allows paid registration and the only one that emails a webinar link — Right Now and Always On take a free opt-in and send no automatic notifications, so distributing the link is on you. Second, in an Always On room, Kartra states that every new event generates a new replay recording and a new chat log, overwriting the old records. The convenience of a permanent room comes with a permanent obligation to download the recording and the chat before the next session starts.

Agorix

Every session in Agorix keeps its own record: its registrations, its attendance, its watch times, its questions, its offer clicks, its recording. Nothing overwrites the session before it, and the follow-up reads from that record rather than from a file you remembered to export.

What it means

A room that overwrites its own history is fine for office hours and expensive for a sales webinar you intend to optimise week over week.

Follow-up, segmentation and attribution

Kartra

KartraMail is a real advantage worth naming: it is the built-in sender, so there is no separate SMTP service to buy, and unlimited email begins at Starter. Kartra’s video product can also tag a viewer on percentage watched and use that tag to trigger automation, which is genuinely more than most suites do. What we could not verify from a Kartra-owned page is the equivalent for the live webinar room — whether attendance duration inside a Kartra webinar can be used as an automation condition. We do not claim it is missing; we are telling you we could not confirm it, and you should ask them directly before you decide on it.

Agorix

Because the room and the email system share one record, follow-up branches on what actually happened: replay to the no-show, the missing context to the early exit, a different message to the engaged non-buyer, onboarding to the buyer. The same record carries attribution from source through registration and attendance to the purchase, with full closed-loop attribution from Growth upward.

What it means

Behavioral follow-up is a data-location question before it is an email question. Ask any vendor to show you the segment builder branching on minutes watched — not the marketing page, the builder.

An automation builder branching a follow-up sequence on attendee behaviour.
AgorixFollow-up branches on attendance behavior because the branch condition sits on the same record as the room.

The rest of the suite, where Kartra is deeper than we are

Kartra

This is the section that should keep you honest about switching. Kartra’s helpdesk is a real product — ticket departments, a self-service portal where customers update cards, download invoices and cancel subscriptions themselves, a searchable wiki with article ratings, and resolution-time analytics. Its affiliate management is unusually mature: commissions global or per product, payment milestones with minimum thresholds and withholding periods, a mandatory approval questionnaire for fraud screening, and EPC, rebill and joint-venture-broker reporting. Add unlimited hosted video on every tier, calendars from Starter up, an importable marketplace of done-for-you campaigns, and an agency console that buys client accounts in bulk at a 40% discount.

Agorix

Agorix is deliberately narrower. It covers events, courses, CRM, marketing, commerce, workflows, analytics and AI-assisted operations, built around one shared customer record — and it does not present itself as a replacement for every specialist tool in your stack. Where Kartra’s breadth genuinely covers a job you depend on, that is a reason to stay, not a gap to argue away.

What it means

If your support desk, affiliate programme and client console all run inside Kartra today, switching is not one migration. It is four, and only one of them is about webinars.

Workflows and AI

Kartra

Kartra’s automations are native and get deeper from Growth up, where advanced automations, the API and the integration layer all unlock together. Kartra AI is scoped to content creation and metered in “uses” — 30 on Essentials, 100 on Starter, 250 on Growth. Kartra does not publish a definition of what a use is, so budgeting against it is guesswork until you are inside the product.

Agorix

The Agorix AI Operator works from the same shared customer and business context and prepares consequential work — funnels, pages, emails, segments, workflows, course material, funnel audits — for a human to approve. Capacity is metered in AI Credits, and larger tasks show an estimated credit range before the work starts, so you can see what a task can spend before you approve it.

What it means

One product bills you for generated content in an undefined unit. The other bills for prepared operating work in a unit it estimates before you commit. Ask what a “use” is before you price the tier on it.

05Pricing

Kartra is cheaper to start. It is not cheaper to run a webinar.

Both columns show monthly / annual-equivalent price. Kartra figures verified 28 July 2026; Agorix figures from our pricing page.

Essentials carries a 5% fee on your sales; Starter and above are 0%. Kartra states there are no add-ons to increase individual functions — exceeding your contact limit automatically upgrades you to the next tier with a mid-cycle reconciliation fee. Their trial is 14 days with a 30-day money-back guarantee, but is capped at 1,000 emails and excludes API and automation features. Kartra does not publish an Enterprise price, so we do not quote one.
The capacity question

Both products meter the room, and they meter it differently. Kartra sets 300 attendees on Growth and 1,000 on Professional, with six presenters on every tier and a four-hour automatic end — the jump from 300 to 1,000 costs $549/mo, and there is no documented way to buy one busy night. Agorix meters attendees by plan too, but the limit that usually forces an upgrade has an escape valve: a one-time boost for a single event.

06Switching path

Do not move everything. Move one journey.

Pages, sequences and membership structure are rebuilt rather than migrated — no platform exports those into another. Contacts, tags, products and purchase history do move.

1First

Map one journey, not the whole account

Pick the single webinar that produces the most revenue. Its registration page, reminder sequence, room, offer and checkout are the migration — the helpdesk, the affiliate programme and the rest of the account can wait behind it.

2Then

Move contacts, tags and purchase history

Export contacts, tags, products and purchase history from Kartra and map them to the Agorix record. Decide upfront which contacts are active marketing contacts and which are history you want to keep without paying to market to.

3Then

Rebuild the funnel and run the evergreen session natively

Rebuild the registration page, reminder sequence and offer in Agorix, then run the next session — live or evergreen — in the native room. If you were paying for a second evergreen subscription alongside Kartra, this is the step that ends it.

4Last

Run both until the numbers agree

Keep memberships, the helpdesk and the affiliate programme serving existing customers on Kartra while the acquisition motion runs on Agorix. Move delivery only once the new journey is producing customers — or keep both, if the helpdesk and affiliates are why you are on Kartra.

07Where Kartra is the better fit

Six reasons to stay where you are.

Written by us, about a competitor, on our own site. If one of these is load-bearing for your business, take it seriously — switching would cost you something real.

A real helpdesk, not a contact form

Ticket departments, a self-service billing portal where customers update cards, download invoices and cancel subscriptions without emailing you, a searchable wiki with article ratings, a floating support bubble, and agent and resolution-time analytics. Live chat is added on Professional. Agorix does not ship a support-desk product like this. [13]

Affiliate management with genuine depth

Commissions set globally or per product, percentage or fixed; payment milestones with minimum thresholds, withholding periods and progressive release; a mandatory terms and questionnaire step so you can approve affiliates manually; PayPal, wire and cheque payouts; and reporting down to EPC, rebills and joint-venture brokers. This is a mature product, not a checkbox. [14]

The cheapest honest way into an all-in-one suite

Essentials is $59/mo billed monthly, or $52/mo billed annually, and it is a genuinely complete suite at that price — pages, email, checkout, a membership, forms, the funnel mapper and 100 pre-built campaigns. Agorix starts at $149/mo. If your budget decides this and you do not need a room, Kartra wins outright. [1]

Done-for-you campaigns you import in one click

Kartra’s marketplace lets you import fully-built funnels — pages, copy and automations together — with single-page templates, multi-page funnels, membership templates and complete campaigns, plus a directory of experts for hire. 100 pre-built campaigns are included even on Essentials. [16]

Unlimited hosted video on every tier

Native video hosting with a custom player, watermark branding, subtitles and playlists on every plan, with no published storage or bandwidth cap — and tagging that fires when a viewer passes a percentage watched, which can drive a win-back sequence for drop-offs. [15]

An agency console with bulk economics

A master console across client accounts with one-click secure login, unified billing and per-client reporting, plus the option to buy Kartra accounts in bulk at a 40% discount and mark them up. Agorix multi-tenant and white-label capability begins in limited form on Pro, at a materially higher price point. [17]

08Switcher questions

The six people actually ask.

Still deciding? Compare Agorix plans, read the ClickFunnels comparison or book a walkthrough and bring your current stack.

Does Kartra have a native webinar room?

Yes — and a lot of comparison content still says otherwise. Kartra ships its own live webinar room with chat, polls, timed offers, handouts, slides, screen share and request-to-speak. It is not Zoom in a wrapper.

The qualifications are the tier and the ceilings. Kartra’s webinar page states webinars are not included with the Starter plan, and they are absent from Essentials, so Growth at $229/mo is the real entry point for a webinar business. Capacity runs 300 attendees on Growth and 1,000 on Professional, with six presenters on every tier and an event that ends automatically at four hours.

Can Kartra run evergreen or automated webinars?

Not from a documented Kartra feature. Kartra lists three scheduling options — Right Now, Always On and Scheduled — and all three are live events. Always On is a persistent room you can reuse, which is not the same thing as a recorded session replayed on a schedule to someone who registered ten minutes ago. The evergreen product published under the same copyright, EverWebinar, is a separate subscription requiring its own account, and Kartra’s documented connection to it transfers registrants rather than merging the two products.

Is Kartra cheaper than Agorix?

On sticker price, clearly yes. Kartra Essentials is $59/mo monthly or $52/mo annually against $149/mo for Agorix Launch. If you do not need a webinar room, that is a real saving and we are not going to argue you out of it.

The comparison changes once a room is required. Kartra webinars start on Growth at $229/mo monthly or $189/mo annually — where you also get 12,500 contacts, more than Agorix Launch’s 5,000. Agorix Launch is $149/mo monthly or $119/mo annually and includes both live and evergreen sessions. So Kartra Growth buys you more contacts; Agorix Launch buys you the evergreen engine and a lower price. Which is cheaper depends entirely on whether evergreen is part of how you sell.

Are Kartra and WebinarJam the same company?

We will only tell you what their own pages say. Kartra’s pricing page refers to its plans as “Genesis Digital subscriptions” and directs legal enquiries to an address at genesisdigital.co. WebinarJam and EverWebinar both carry a “© Copyrights, Genesis Digital LLC” line in their footers. Kartra’s own footer and terms name the operating entity as Kartra Inc. No single Kartra-owned or WebinarJam-owned page states in one sentence that the products share a parent company, so we do not assert it. What is verifiable and practical is simpler: the evergreen product is a separate subscription with a separate account, whoever owns it.

What actually moves when I switch?

Contacts, tags, products and purchase history export and map onto the Agorix record. Pages, email sequences, funnels and membership structure are rebuilt rather than migrated — the formats do not transfer between platforms. Optional help exists: a $499 setup package on Growth and a $1,500 funnel migration package on Pro. Confirm systems, data, journeys, responsibilities, timeline and acceptance criteria before any implementation work begins.

Is the AI Operator included in the free trial?

No. The current self-serve trial does not enable the AI Operator. Paid plans include monthly AI Credits, and a walkthrough can show how the Operator uses shared customer and business context before you pick a plan.

Agorix plan prices, capacities, trial terms and migration packages come from our own pricing page. Several Kartra facts we could not verify from a Kartra-owned page are therefore not stated anywhere above: the Enterprise plan price, which Kartra does not publish; the Professional tier’s team-seat, AI-use and language counts, which appear only in a comparison table that contradicts Kartra’s own plan cards; whether Kartra offers native mobile apps; and whether attendance duration inside a Kartra webinar can be used as an automation condition. Where Kartra’s pages contradict each other on whether webinars are included with Starter, we followed the three sources that agree over the one that does not. Competitor pricing and features change; this page is re-verified quarterly and the stamp above moves with it. No Kartra logos or interface screenshots appear on this page by design.
